William III Crown 1700 MS63 NGC, Royal mint, KM494.3, ESC-97, S-3474. "DVODECIMO" edge. A highly appealing crown featuring the bust of William III accented by attractive, silvery-gray tone and champagne highlights. Faint adjustment marks over the bust blend nicely into the surrounding patina and are virtually unnoticeable to the unaided eye. The reverse is similar in appearance but with the addition of light, turquoise iridescence surrounding the central devices and nearly-pristine fields that contain a surprising amount flash. A remarkable specimen that is highly-coveted in this elite quality.
