George II Proof 100 Drachmai ND (1940) Proof Details (Surface Hairlines) NGC, KM75. A one-year type struck to commemorate the 5th Restoration of the Monarchy featuring the bust of George II and crowned coat of arms. Despite surfaces that exhibit light hairlines, the tone of this broad selection is quite attractive, with shades of russet color mottling the obverse and a choice level of reflectivity within the fields. Asserting a rather small mintage of only 500 pieces, this example is not one to be overlooked.
