Muzaffar al-Din Shah silver 5 Kran AH1318 (1901) VF/XF, KM-X21. 37mm/24.47g. By A. Michaux. A most engaging selection struck upon the Shah's visit to the Brussels mint, displaying the military-styled portrait of Muzaffar al-Din Shah and a calligraphic reverse inscription. Even in this circulated quality, the wear across the devices is uniform and a minor rim bruise is the only noteworthy imperfection. An altogether pleasing issue with pewter gray coloration and darker patination that rests in the protected areas, surrounding the design elements. A rarely-offered medallic issue struck in silver, wholly appealing and as such.
