Reza Shah gold 2 Pahlavi SH1305 (1926) XF45 NGC, Tehran mint, KM1112, Fr-89. Mintage: 1,134. A rare multiple in any grade, but even more so without evidence of having been used as jewelry, with the present piece displaying a relatively even strike and remnants of luster on both sides. Archived sales of the type are few, but a similar coin is noted as having been sold by Hess-Divo in 2009 that hammered for 1,700 Swiss Francs (approximately $1,495 at the time).
