Vittorio Emanuele III gold 50 Lire 1911-R MS61 NGC, Rome mint, KM54, Fr-25. A most attractive one-year type, struck to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the unification of the Kingdom of Italy, displaying lightly-toned antiqued coloration and a beautifully-designed allegorical reverse motif. Just a bit of light rub atop the higher features are noted in the grade. Choice, and with a mintage of just 2,000 pieces, an excellent Mint-State representative of the type.
