Republic gold 50 Soles 1953 MS65 Prooflike NGC, Lima mint, KM230. Gem Mint State with fully reflective fields and truly superb eye-appeal. A decidedly scarcer date with only 1,464 coins minted, very rare and vastly desirable in this superb preservation, since most of the surviving examples are impaired. Currently the single second finest example behind an MS66 coin, and one of only three coins certified in any grade by NGC.
