Republic 2-1/2 Shillings 1896 MS64 NGC, Pretoria mint, KM7, Hern-Z34. Nicely defined details, with full luster beneath mottled russet toning. Although carrying the highest mintage of the type, this issue is surprisingly scarce in Choice Condition, with no examples certified finer than MS64 by either NGC, or PCGS. As with many of the outstanding pieces in this collection, the only example of this date we have offered in MS64.The Read Collection
