Ferdinand & Isabel gold 2 Excelentes ND (1476-1516) S-X UNC Details (Damaged) NGC, Seville mint, Cal-78, Fr-129. Technically Mint State with a moderate slide abrasion between "FERNAN..." and the queen's bust on the obverse, and slight traces of a possibly bent planchet as often encountered in this series. Very scarce and quite collectible despite the noted mild defects, the conjoined portraits of the monarchs quite impressively detailed.
