Ferdinand & Isabel gold 2 Excelentes ND (1476-1516) S-+ AU55 NGC, Seville mint, Cal-74, Fr-129. Well preserved with only mild high-point friction evidence, good detailing throughout and the usual slight planchet waviness for the issue. A small scratch above the king's bust is noted for accuracy yet is essentially unobtrusive. A classic and popular early gold type, very scarce so finely preserved.
