Isabel II 20 Reales 1860 MS64 NGC, Madrid mint, KM609.2. Very elusive quality for the issue, with dusky original tone in the centers and lime-green iridescent color along the outer edges of the obverse. As one might expect from the grade, few marks are noteworthy on either side, and the strike is altogether impressive. The single finest graded example of the date, and one of the finest graded of the entire type, with the finest we've previously sold, an 1862-dated example grading NGC MS62, bringing $1,116.25 in our January 2013 auction.
