Venezuela
Guayana. Ferdinand VII copper 1/2 Real 1815 MS61 Brown PCGS, Guayana mint, KM-C41.2. Mint State with pleasant chocolate color and partially lustrous surfaces. Extremely rare grade for this otherwise common type, with only two other coins certified as Mint State by either major third party grading service: an MS60 and an MS62 example, both certified by NGC. The latter hammered for $10,000 in our 2015 NYINC Signature Sale (Heritage Auction # 3035, lot 31838). We expect this by all means comparable specimen to realize close to that amount.
Estimate: 6000-8000 USD
