Mysore. Krishnaraja Wodiyar III gold Pagoda ND (1799-1806) AU55 NGC, Mysore mint, KM210. With significant original golden luster and a bold strike. Krishnaraja Wodiyar was installed as Maharaja on 30 June 1799. His regent Dewan Purnaiya revamped the currency system and adopted the Ikkeri design with the name Sri Krishna Raja in Devanagari. locally the coins were known as new Ikkeri pagodas. A pagoda was equal to three and half a rupees.
