Fausta (wife of Constantius). Augusta, A.D. 324-326. Æ follis. 3.38 gm. 19 mm. Treveri (Trier) mint, 2nd officina. Struck A.D. 324-325. Her mantled bust right wearing necklace, hair waved; FLAV MAX FAVSTA AVG / Salus or empress standing left, head veiled, cradling two infants in her arms; SALVS RE[I]-PVBLICAE. RIC VII 459. Near Extremely Fine; attractive black patina; interesting striking error on reverse (not enough material in flan, making Salus's head appear flatly struck).
