KINGS of PERSIS. Dārēv (Darios) I. 2nd century BC. Fourrée AR Drachm (18mm, 3.38 g, 12h). Head right, with short beard, wearing diadem and kyrbasia surmounted by crescent / Fire temple, Ahura-Mazda above; to left, Dārēv (Darios) standing right; to right, standard surmounted by eagle. Cf. K&M 3/10; cf. Alram 557; cf. Sunrise 582 (all refs for non-fourrée issue). Good VF, lightly toned, numerous breaks in plating.
