MECCAΛINAN, draped bust right / EΦECIΩN PΩ-MH, Roma standing facing, head right, holding scepter and statue of Artemis Ephesia. RPC Supp. II 2632 note (this coin cited); CNG E-212, lot 179 (misdescribed as Messalina [wife of Claudius]; same dies). Near VF, rough green patina. An extremely rare variant, and likely the second (and better) known.
