Cilicia, Tarsus. Mazaios. Satrap of Cilicia, 361/0-334 B.C. AR stater (24.1 mm, 10.92 g, 11 h). Baaltars enthroned left, holding grapes, grain ears, and scepter; ankh in upper left field; Aramaic inscription to right (off flan) / Lion attacking bull left; Aramaic inscription above, two monograms below. Unpublished in standard references. gVF, off center obverse. Very Rare.

The ankh-monogram is known in this series but is generally positioned between the legs of the throne on the obverse or below the bull on the reverse. This die appears to be unpublished.
