GRIM – – VΛLD, crowned bust facing, holding globus cruciger / DOMS CAR • (RX), cross potent; cross of four pellets above, ςR monogram to left, pellet to either side of base; VIC(triangle). CNI XVIII 10; BMC Vandals 8; L. A. Adams, "Charlemagne's Gold," SAN XIV/2 (Summer 1983), p. 30, fig. 1 (this coin). VF, short flan crack, minor weakness in areas, light scuff on reverse. Rare with GR monogram.
