Watch List notes:

TAURIC CHERSONESOS, Chersonesos. Mid 1st-mid 2nd centuries AD. AV Stater (19.5mm, 7.73 g, 5h). Dated CY 145 (AD 121/2). Diademed and draped bust left; scepter(?) before / Artemis advancing right, holding arrow and bow in left hand, preparing to cast spear held aloft in right hand; monogram to left, MP-E (date) across lower field. Anokhin 874 var. (dated CY 142); Anokhin, Khersonesa 247-9 var. (date); Zograph pl. XXXVII, 14-5 var. (same); SNG BM Black Sea –. Good VF, as struck, a few light marks on reverse. Very rare late Chersonesos stater, unique with this date.
