THRACE, Byzantion. Circa 230s BC. AV Stater (20mm, 8.51 g, 1h). In the name and types of Lysimachos. Diademed head of the deified Alexander right, with horn of Ammon / Athena Nikephoros seated left, left arm resting on shield, transverse spear in background; monogram to outer left; in exergue, trident left. Marinescu Issue 45, 119 (dies 44/114); Seyrig, Monnaies, pl. 23, 7 = SNG Berry 456 (same dies). EF, a few minor marks, light die rust. Very rare.
