GAUL, Northeast. Treviri. 2nd century BC. AV Quarter Stater (12mm, 1.80 g, 12h). Celticized head of Apollo right, wearing laurel wreath / Celticized androcephalic horse galloping right; above, charioteer holding rein in left hand, right hand holding kentron attached to [vexillum to left]; below, winged figure flying left. D&T 124; Depeyrot, NC VII 60; de la Tour 6821. EF, lightly toned, hairline flan crack. Very rare and choice for issue.


The only example in CoinArchives, CGB 25, lot 785, hammered at € 8600 (approx. $10,546).
