EGYPT, Alexandria. Constantius I. As Caesar, AD 293-305. Potin Tetradrachm (19mm, 7.23 g, 1h). Dated RY 4 (AD 295/6). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Ares standing right, holding spear and parazonium, facing Constantius I, who is standing facing, head left, holding scepter and sacrificing over low altar between them; L ∆ (date) across field. Köln –; Dattari (Savio) 10752; K&G –; cf. Emmett 4188.3 for type, otherwise unpublished. Good VF, attractive reddish-brown patina. Very rare.
