Domitian. As Caesar, AD 69-81. AR Denarius (19mm, 3.11 g, 12h). Ephesus mint. Struck under Vespasian, AD 76. Laureate head right / Eagle standing facing, head right, on garlanded cippus, wings open. RIC II 1492 (Vespasian); RPC 1466; cf. RIC pl. 80, 1493 (same obv. die but different rev. type). EF, areas of slight granularity, some shallow cleaning scratches on obverse. Portrait of artistic merit. Rare.
