Diva Julia Domna. Died AD 217. AR Denarius (19mm, 3.31 g, 12h). Consecration issue. Rome mint. Struck under Elagabalus or Severus Alexander, AD 218 or AD 222. Veiled and draped bust right / Peacock standing facing, body and head inclined left, tail spread. RIC 396 (Caracalla) and 715 (Severus Alexander); RSC 24. Good VF, toned, light porosity. Very rare.
