Of all the curious legends on Roman coinage one of the strangest is the inclusion of "T(upside down)II" on the obverse of this coin. This is generally reported as being the age of Julius Caesar at the time of issue. Why here, and only here, Caesar would decide his age mattered on a coin remains a mystery. MSG.
