Diademed head of Ptolemy I to right, wearing aegis around his neck; within his hair behind his ear, tiny letter Δ. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΠΤΟΛΕΜΑΙΟΥ Eagle, with closed wings, standing left on thunderbolt; to left, Ρ above monogram of ΜΙ. SNG Copenhagen 69. Svoronos 252. A lovely piece but with a few minor marks, including a scuff on the obverse. Extremely fine.
