BRUTTIUM, Kroton. Circa 500-480 BC. Stater (Silver, 22mm, 7.88 g 5). ϘΡΟ Tripod with three handles and legs ending in lions' paws; border of dots. Rev. Eagle flying right, with spread wings (incuse); rayed border. HN III 2095. SNG ANS 287 (same dies). An attractive example, with a splendid reverse. Extremely fine.
