The Nymph Messana seated right, holding the reins in both hands, driving a biga of mules walking to right; above, Nike flying left to crown her; in exergue, laurel leaf. Rev. MEΣΣANION Hare springing to right. Basel 362 (this coin). Caltabiano 469.1 (D 195/R 188, this coin). Very attractively toned, well centered and very pretty. Nearly extremely fine.
