ANCIENT COINS, Greek, Ionia (c.670 BC), Electrum Trite, lightly striated surface (perhaps an earlier prototype of the clearly striated issues), rev two incuse punches, side-by-side, 4.60g (SNG Kayhan 679; Weidauer 5). One of the very first coins to bear an obverse design, about extremely fine and very rare.
