BRITISH COINS, Elizabeth I, Silver Sixpence, milled issue, 1564, large crowned bust left with decorated dress, small rose behind, initial mark star, rev 9 o'clock die axis, quartered shield of arms upon long cross pattée, date between stops above, 3.12g (N 2028; S 2597). Hairline scratch on cheek, light scratches over crown and around lower quarters of shield, otherwise practically extremely fine, toned.
