BRITISH COINS, Charles I (1625-1649), Silver Crown, Exeter mint (1643-1646), king on horseback left with upright sword, sash in a large bow, initial mark rose (1643-1645) both sides, rev quartered shield of arms garnished with twelve even scrolls surrounding, all within beaded inner circle, 29.04g (N 2531; S 3056). Even wear to high points, on a somewhat irregular flan, bold fine, lightly toned.
