BANKNOTES, Great Britain, Bank of England, uniface White £5, 4 February 1916, London, serial no.92D 36745, signed by John Gordon Nairne, Britannia to left with shield, spear and beehive (Dugg B208b). Several pinholes and edge nicks, otherwise about very fine, purple "LLOYDS BANK LIMITED (Capital & Counties Bank Branch) BROAD STREET, READING" bank stamp and two round "READING" bank stamps on the front.
