BANKNOTES, United States of America, USA, New York, Buffalo, The Bank of Niagara, uniface $3 remainder, undated (c.1860), without serial number, signatures cut out and holes repaired with other blank paper, vignette at centre of a Roman(?) man on a rearing warhorse (Haxby, Standard Catalog of United States Obsolete Bank Notes 1782-1866, G64). Repaired where signatures cut out, otherwise extremely fine and attractive.
