BRITISH 18th CENTURY TOKENS, Robert Biddulph, Copper Penny, 1796, obv bull facing left, JUNE 3D. 1796 above, J MILTON F in exergue, rev apple tree and a plough within an oaken wreath, short handles on plough do not reach the wreath, edge plain (Conder p.45, 1; Atkins p.45, 1; D&H Herefordshire 1). Struck from a late state of the obverse die, good extremely fine and with a little original colour remaining.
