Found near Woodhall Spa, Lincolnshire, 2015
Recorded with the British Museum, ref. TBC

During the later middle ages The Witham valley, an area which stretched between Lincoln and Boston, was developed with the highest concentration of Christian abbeys and monastic foundations in England. It is, therefore, perhaps not too surprising that evidence of trade with and/or pilgrimage to the large continenal monastic houses would appear in this area.
