Eadmund (939-46), Penny, 1.57g, Two line type (HR1), mint in the north midlands, Regnulf, +eadmvnd rex, cross pattée within inner circle, rev. regn / vlf m, divided by three cross pattée, crude rosettes above and below (CTCE p.128, No 216; N.691; S.1105), a field find with contact marks, cracked along REGN and with perforation on left cross, the obverse somewhat bright, possibly due to an attempt to remove verdigris of which some remains, this piece well legible throughout, centred, full, and perfectly round, good very fine .
