Edward III (1327-77), Noble, 7.69g, Pre-treaty period, 1351-61, London, series Gb/Gd, m.m. cross 3 on reverse only, king standing facing in ship, holding sword and shield, saltire before edward, broken backed c and e, rev. floriated cross with lis at ends, annulet to right of top lis, small closed e in centre, lis in second quarter (LAL dies BD/24; Schneider 45-46; N.1180/1181; S.1490), struck from a slightly rusty obverse die, good very fine.
