Edward VI (1547-53), Shilling, 3.91g, Third period, 1550-53 , Tower, mdli, m.m. lion, crowned bust right, bust 6, rev. garnished shield dividing e r (N.1943/1; S.2473), a field find with the usual scuffs, striking crack at 1 o'clock and frosted surfaces, some well-defined portrait detail visible, fine or better for this poor issue, lion a rare mintmark.
