Philip and Mary (1554-58), Shilling, 6.28g, 1554, full titles, no m.m., crown dividing date above facing busts, rev. crowned shield dividing mark of value (N.1967; S.2501), striking flaw at 12 o'clock, fine surface faults on and around the bust of Philip, scratch to regnal title, this piece well centred, both busts retaining fine detail but Mary's portrait particularly good, toned, good very fine.
