James I (1603-25), silver Naval Reward, bust three-quarters right, wearing hat decorated with feathers, rev. the ark upon the sea, rays above, 56mm. x 43mm. (MI i, 233/95), with integral loop for suspension, a good quality copy of this famous badge, possibly 19th century, MI describes the originals as 'always cast and chased, rare'.
