Constantine VII Porphyrogenitus, with Romanus II. 913-959. Fourée Solidus (21mm, 3.76 g, 6h). Facing bust of Christ Pantokrator / Crowned facing busts of Constantine VII, wearing loros, and Romanus II, wearing chlamys, holding patriarchal cross between them. Cf. SB 1751 (for prototype). VF, light earthen encrustation. A remarkably good example of an ancient counterfeit with the core visible only at a few tiny points.
