CILICIA, Seleucia ad Calycadnum. Volusian. AD 251-253. Æ (28mm, 11.77 g, 12h). Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / The Gigantomachy (the battle between the Giants and the Olympic Gods): Minerva standing right, holding shield and preparing to spear Porphyrion crouching left. RPC IX online 1322; SNG France 1055 = Waddington 4480; SNG Levante 780. VF, natural green patina, some minor roughness. Excellent battle scene.
