Diva Faustina Senior. Died AD 140/1. AV Aureus (19mm, 7.04 g, 6h). Rome mint. Struck under Antoninus Pius, circa AD 146-161. DIVA FAV-STINA, draped bust right, wearing band of pearls in hair / AVGV-STA, Ceres standing left, holding torch and scepter. RIC III 356a (Pius); Beckman dies df8/CA4; Calicó 1763. VF, light marks, scrape on the reverse, details strengthened in the hair and on the reverse. SOLD AS IS.
