Septimius Severus, with Julia Domna, Caracalla, and Geta. AD 193-211. BI Fourrée Aureus Core (19mm, 2.47 g, 12h). Uncertain mint. Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Facing draped bust of Julia Domna; on left, Caracalla facing right, laureate and draped; on right, Geta facing left, bareheaded and draped. Cf. RIC IV 181c; cf. BMCRE 380. Fine, toned and porous. Rare and interesting. This was probably gilt at one time.
