Herennius Etruscus. As Caesar, A.D. 249-251. Son of Trajan Decius. AR antoninianus. 3.53 gm. 22 mm. Rome mint. His radiate and draped bust right; Q HER ETR MES DECIVS NOB C / Herennius in military dress standing left, holding wand and transverse spear; PRINCIPI IVVENTVTIS. RIC IV.3 147c (Trajan Decius). RSC 26. Good Very Fine; toned. Apparently lacquered, as are the previous two lots representing his parents. Scarce.All three lots of the family of Trajan Decius are from the same collection and appear to have been laqcuered.
