SCOTLAND. David II. 1329-1371. AR groat. 3.96 gm. 28 mm. Third (light) coinage. 1367-1371. Edinburgh mint. His bust left, a scepter in front with a star at the base; trefoils in the tressures / Long cross; mullets of five points each in angles. S. 5125. Near Very Fine; nicely toned; slight softness on portrait; reverse a bit double struck but clearly readable; fresh quality metal.
