It is probably safe to say the lot represents the nicest hoard of Albanian minors ever to hit the auction block at one time. Nearly every minor denomination struck from 1926 to 1937 is represented, almost all with multiple duplicates. Half a dozen of the coins are attributed to either the John J. Pittman collection or the John Davenport collection. If you have any familiarity with the quality of their collections then you already know what a sensational grouping of coins are being offered here. The inventory tags indicate these coins came from some of the top dealers in the United States including Samuel C. Smith, Karl Stephens and Harlan J. Berk. Grades range from high-end ALMOST UNCIRCULATED to SUPERB GEM BRILLIANT UNCIRCULATED. Several of the coins sport sensational color, and all have superior eye appeal.
