Approximately 70 pieces in lot. What can only be described as a hoard of medieval Armenian coinage, with 63 pieces struck under Hethum I, plus an additional 7 coins struck under Levon III. Most of these are FINE or better, a few with minor problems or cracked flans. A number of coins have wonderfully attractive tone. None of these appear to have been in the ground; fresh original coinage and over a thousand years old. Retail value of approximately $2,200. Inspection advised. SOLD AS IS/NO RETURNS.
