BRAZIL. 40 Reis, 1826-R/B. Rio de Janeiro Mint. NGC MS-62 BN.
KM-363.1. Cross on Crown. A highly unusual piece, at present there are no known 40 Reis coins dated 1826 that were struck at the Bahia mint, hence the under-type mint mark (B) is very special. Finest graded regardless of type for this date at both NGC and PCGS. Even semigloss brown patina. NGC MS-62 BN.
