GERMANY. Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt. 1/2 Taler, 1791-ICK. Friedrich Karl (1790-93). NGC MS-64.
KM-133. Tied with three other examples at this numeric grade with just a single coin certified finer (MS-65) at either NGC or PCGS. Lightly toned with clear magenta tone over nearly flawless surfaces. A single small flan lamination in the uniform of the bust (as made) mentioned for accuracy. Pair of nude bushman supporting the coat of arms on the reverse makes for an interesting choice of devices in the design. Expressive portrait. Highly desirable and exceptionally well preserved, this 18th century large silver fractional Taler will make a great addition to any collection of Wildman coinage or related material. NGC MS-64.

Estimate: $700.00- $1000.00
