GERMANY. Mixed Silver 2, 3, 5 Marks & Medals, 1694-1932. EXTREMELY FINE to NGC MS-62.
31 pieces in lot. Terrific assemblage of highly desirable German material, with solid catalog value. The lot begins with an 1694 Trier 3 Petermeniger, followed by a pair of 1717 Paderborn 1/12 Taler (KM-176.6). All three are high grade for the issue. Next, an 1861 Anhalt-Bernburg 1/6 Taler in GEM BRILLIANT UNCIRCULATED. Moving on to the late 19th and early 20th century, there are numerous all-different German States silver 2, 3, and 5 Mark coins from Wurttemberg, Saxony, Prussia, Hamburg, Hessen, Bavaria, and Breslau. Nearly all are UNCIRCULATED, a few lightly cleaned, but generally very impressive coinage, several with beautiful toning. Total of 9 coins in the 2 Mark denomination, 8 coins in the 3 Mark denomination, and a pair of 5 Mark coins. The winning bidder will also receive 3 medals, including pieces by Karl Goetz, plus 5 different Weimar Republic issues including several 5 Mark coins and a smaller 2 Mark Zeppelin piece, with all of the coins in at least UNCIRCULATED condition. Especially for those collectors of German States, a real fun lot to look through, and even more fun to add to the collection. Three pieces graded by NGC. Retail value in excess of $2,100. Inspection advised. SOLD AS IS/NO RETURNS. EXTREMELY FINE to NGC MS-62.

Estimate: $900.00- $1200.00
